🏴‍☠️ The Goonies Return in LEGO Form: A Nostalgic Adventure Reborn! 🧱

Nearly 40 years after its 1985 debut, the beloved adventure film The Goonies has found a new way to inspire fans — this time, through LEGO. The legendary toy company has officially revealed a 2,912-piece LEGO set that brings the spirit of the movie’s pirate-fueled adventure to life once again.

⚓ A Pirate Ship Full of Memories

Inspired by the movie’s iconic pirate ship, the set recreates unforgettable moments — from the Fratellis’ hideout to the Bone Organ and One-Eyed Willy’s treasure room. Each detail is crafted to capture the spirit of adventure and nostalgia that made the original film timeless.

🧒 Classic Characters in Miniature Form

The collection includes 12 minifigures of beloved characters: Mikey, Chunk, Mouth, Andy, Data, and more. LEGO even designed new custom elements for Sloth’s pirate hat and Mama Fratelli’s beret — small details that make big fans smile.

“When we filmed the reveal of the pirate ship, they made us walk in backwards so we wouldn’t see it until the cameras rolled,” recalled Ke Huy Quan, who played Data. “Our reactions were real — it was pure magic!”

🎥 A Touch of Hollywood Nostalgia

To celebrate the announcement, Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan appeared in a special LEGO mini-film, guiding fans through the set and its hidden Easter eggs. The set comes from LEGO Ideas, a division that turns fan concepts into reality through community voting. This particular design was created by Greek 3D artist Vaggelis Ntezes, known online as Delusion Brick.

💎 Hidden Treasures and Bonus Surprises

The Goonies LEGO Set will launch on November 1 (early access) and hit stores worldwide on November 4 for $309.99. Fans who purchase early will also receive a bonus mini-set — “The Walsh Attic,” a 179-piece model that recreates the moment the kids discover the treasure map.

🌟 A Legacy That Never Dies

Released in 1985, The Goonies became one of the most iconic adventure films in cinema history. Directed by Richard Donner and produced by Steven Spielberg, it captured the imagination of a generation — and continues to find new fans through streaming and pop culture tributes.

With LEGO’s latest creation, both longtime fans and newcomers can experience the magic of friendship, courage, and treasure hunting — one brick at a time.

✨ “Goonies never say die… and now, they say LEGO!”
